“To say that I have ever truly painted a portrait would be something of a stretch. The works I have included in this category are only Portraits in that they represent a human form or face.  Whether these characters were real or imagined individuals, they all became part of the circle of personalities I surrounded myself with in those early, sometimes lonely years.
